Daniela Mazal, M.S. is a Clinical Kinesiologist, 2nd generation comprehensive Pilates teacher, and movement educator with a Master of Science in Kinesiology.
Combining true classical Pilates lineage with modern movement science, Daniela helps future instructors learn not just what to teach—but why.

Before I became a Pilates teacher, I was a college student teaching yoga classes for $20 a class while working restaurant shifts to pay the bills.
I didn't come to Pilates because I wanted abs.
I came because I was looking for a better future.
What I found was so much more.
At the time, my body was already struggling. I had grown up as a hypermobile dancer and spent years chasing flexibility instead of strength.
Then I took my first Pilates training.
And something clicked.
For the first time, I experienced strength and control in a way my body had been missing.
Pilates didn't just stretch me.
It stabilized me.
It taught me how to create strength where I had spent years relying on flexibility.
I became a better dancer.
A better yogi.
And eventually, a better teacher.
What started as a career opportunity became something much bigger.
The strength and resilience I discovered through Pilates carried me through some of the most challenging seasons of my life—including caregiving for my mother's end-of-life journey, a traumatic birth experience, postpartum depression and anxiety, injury recovery, and the process of finding my way back to myself.
Again and again, Pilates became the place I returned to.
Not because it made life easier.
Because it reminded me what I was capable of.
Today, my mission is simple:
To help future teachers discover not only how to teach Pilates—but how to use movement to build strength, confidence, and a life they love.
Daniela is an incredibly knowledgeable Pilates teacher who makes every class feel both challenging and supportive. Her background in kinesiology really shows in the way she explains movements and helps you understand your body. She makes you feel comfortable no matter your experience level.
